Reviews: Boost 2 - Instructional Video (DVD Version)

Conclusion: Boost 2 (DVD) is a great instructional video with the advantage of a DVD version that you can easily skip chapters and easily repeat chapters compared to video tape instructional videos. Everything important is covered and I was amazed that I indeed use the recommended 4 line-pump-procedure as shown on the DVD in every detail, because it prevents twisting of the leading edge tube when you do it that way. Elliot Leboe states one of the most important things on the Wakeboard section that you should always remember your front hand when doing jumps with rotations. Every time I jump, I concentrate on my front hand to get the kite in the right direction when you might have lost orientation during the rotation. The video would have been even better with some animations like seen in Ken Winner's "How to Rip" and "How to Rip Harder" in order to make the position of the kite more obvious to the viewer during the chapters, for example jumping. But Premier focused more on showing the kite from the riders perspective which is pretty good, too. There is some other good kiteboarding action footage part of Boost and one thing I liked is that they start the video with Safety: use common sense. Rating: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as an instructional video
